Yunfeng Song is a senior partner at Dentons’ Beijing office who has been practicing law for 15 years, previously serving for numerous years at university and government agency. Mr. Song’s areas of focus include capital markets, M&A and antimonopoly, bankruptcy reorganization and liquidation, and dispute resolution. He also has in-depth experience in the industries of energy and power, culture and entertainment, banking and finance, food and FMCG, and technology and medicine, among others. His dedication and professionalism have received unanimous praise from domestic and overseas clients.

In the energy, power and mining sector, Mr. Song’s clients include Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (HKSE: 02208; SSE: 002202), Beijing Jingneng Power Co., Ltd. (SSE: 600578), Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (HKSE: 00579), Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co., Ltd. (SSE:601615) and its subsidiaries, EDF (China), subsidiary in energy sector of China Minsheng Investment Co., Ltd., China Minmetals Group Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, Mintal Group Co., Ltd., Tianrun New Energy Investment Co., Ltd., Beijing Enterprises Wind Power Co., Ltd., which is the subsidiary of Beijing Enterprises Clean Energy Group Co., Ltd.   • China Hua Neng Group: Provided legal services for China Hua Neng Group Hong Kong Company, Huaneng International Power Development Company, companies of StateＧrid Corporation of China such as State Grid International Development Company on their major  investment in power generation and grid sector following“One Belt One Road” initiative.
  • Chinese mining company: Represented a together with China African Development Fund and Silk Road Fund on acquisition of a mining company in Africa.
  • SNAM S.p.A.: Advising Italian energy infrastructure company SNAM S.p.A. and its Chinese subsidiary on their cooperation with major Chinese state-owned and private energy companies. SNAM is listed on the Italian stock exchange since 2001 and is the largest natural gas infrastructure company in Europe as well as the second largest in the world, with an enterprise value of approximately 30 billion Euros;
  • Beijing Jingneng Power Co., Ltd. (SSE: 600578) and Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (HKSE: 00579): Advised on projects in multiple areas including their issuance of shares, bonds, and short-term financial bonds, consolidation merger, acquisition and restructuring, as well as the repurchase of A shares.
  • Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries: Advised on their equity investment projects in wind power industry over two decades, advised on its subsidiary Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment Co., Ltd.’s transfer of equity interest in a number of subordinate projects to Apple.
  • China Huarong Asset Management Co., Ltd.: Advised on its issuance of RMB 25 billion financial bonds.
  • Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co., Ltd. (SSE:601615) and its subsidiaries: Advised on a number of equity investment and acquisition projects in the sector of wind power generation.
  • EDF (China) and its subsidiaries: Advised on a number of equity investment and acquisition in the sector of photovoltaic power generation.
  • Delong Steel Co., Ltd.: Provided legal services for a US$500 million syndicated loan project in relation to its investment in Indonesia.
  • State-owned enterprise: Advised on setting up a joint venture in Saudi Arabia;
